With the hustle and bustle of health care reform, I still can not fathom how the health care bill that is hovering in the house for approval will be good for us as Americans. I spent some time today reading "the bill" (which is apparently too hard for our elected leaders to do). In order to give a well balanced opinion on the thing, I thought it was only right in order that I peruse the bill. Here are some of my thoughts:

1. Items of "reform." I would agree that we do need reform...but not the health care system. The American Health Care System is the best, by far. If you disagree with that...have you been living under a rock? Let's think about this for a minute. People from other countries who have a form of universal health care come here for health care. Why is that? Universal Health care options have waiting lists of people in order of their claim. There are higher chances of you dying on the list that receiving the health care that you need. What we should focus on here in America is not a government funded / administered system, but a private organization to regulate the payments for the health care claims.

2. Health care is a privilege, not a right. When you go on vacation, you choose what hotel you wish to stay at, based upon the funds that you have available. You can either stay at a five-star resort, or the local Hampton Inn. The same goes for health care. You pay for what you get. Health care should no be a hand out for anyone. I am sorry to say that. I know some of you may be thinking "oh, how Conservative of you. You just hate us folks who can't afford health care. WE WANT GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE!" No, I do not hate...It is just common sense. Health care should have a cost to those who obtain it.

3. Information about "Health Care Reform" The fact that the Obama administration is being shady about giving out information about this 1000+ page bill should be a tell-tale sign that it is not right for America. If the health care bill passes, we will be that far closer to a government-ran society...aka: socialism. If the Government can get a hold of our lives with health care, they know that they will have most of the control of our lives that they will need in order to implement more systems of socialism. Obama is a socialist at heart. Look at his policies and what he has done thus far.

4. The Government has lost their focus. I think of a quote by a President that I admire so much, Ronald Reagan ""Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives." The Government is a moving freight train that has gotten out of control, especially here in the last seven months since Bam-Bams came into office. People believed the lies and the flash cover ups, and elected a man who...yes wants "change", but it is a bad kind of change. If you did not do your homework during the Presidential election, you could easily be suckered into believing the lies that his campaign and ACORN had up their sleeve.

5. The figures are wrong. All programs that have been implemented by the Obama administration, notice one thing. Anything that has numbers involved, have been completely wrong. The amount they are saying this program will cost is wrong, it is too small to cover "everyone" the health care system is supposed t support. If, by chance...those numbers would have been correct, maybe they would have more support. The fact of the matter is, they were wrong. So, this system will fail.

6. The Post Office. For those that listened to Obama's speech the other day, I am going to use an example that Obama used. Look at the U.S. Postal Service and the private mail carriers. The post office is quickly failing. Over the last few years, the amount of mail that passes through them is quickly becoming a smaller and smaller amount. Look at FedEx and UPS. Those are doing just fine. Who runs the Postal Service? The Government. Who runs FedEx and UPS? Private companies. So... that right there proves my point...and the points of many others. The Government should not run an organization because they can not do anything right. Keep it private, for the best of the common good.

So, I was at the outlet mall here in Orlando tonight and I stumbled upon the Converse Factory Store. If you know me, you will know that I do now own a pair of Converse shoes. I do not have anything against them, just do not own a pair.

If you look closely at the history of the company, you can see some similarities of some major issues today. Foreshadowing?

Perhaps. The Converse shoes (or "Chucks") were widely popular in the 1950's and 60's. After that, the company hit some bumps along the way, because of the uprising of popularity of their competitors of Nike, Adidas and others. Finally, they were not known as the number one shoe used for basketball players. Reebok took that title.

I know you may be wondering "What is this guy getting at??" Ha. Hang tight. Almost there, a little bit more history. The company filed for bankruptcy on January 22, 2001. Their main factory which was in the United States closed, but they continued their production from the China, Indonesia and Italy factories. The company was bought by what was a competitor, Nike in 2003. The unique "converse" design looked the same, but some wearers of the shoes have complained about a change in the material the shoes were made with.

This is a little interesting scenario to show that things go through cycles. For instance, GM. What was an auto-giant was bailed out of bankruptcy by the Government. Does this mean that the company is going to be run by the Government? Changes in their line-up and design of automobiles? Well...according to the Governmental Administration, they "say" no, but I have said it many-MANY times, they have no intention of letting go. When they see how much funding and control they can get out of it, they will just pass excuses as to why they can't get out now. I also predict there will be a major change in their automobile design. I can kiss my little dream of owning a GMC Sierra out the window. The quality will more than likely be not up to the standards the old GM had.

If you look at the Presidents of the past, you will see that it goes through cycles. Conservative...then Liberal. Big Government back to Small Government. I would say it typically helps the general consensus to have that cycle in Governmental leadership, but I think there are limits. This current monsoon is out of control. By far. We have reached a 1-Trillion dollar deficit. That is something that is going to take years to get under control.

Look at the weather cycles. Some would say that "Gobal Warming is real! Go GREEN!" Calm down. If you look at the history of the weather, it goes through cycles, it takes about 100 years for a cycle to complete, in that you will see that it gets warmer...then cooler. It is all part of how God created the universe to function. Just as our bodies have the ability to take care of themselves when we get an injury, He has created the world with the same type of system. For goodness sake. It is mother nature! She is capable of making the most beautiful plants. She is a big girl. She can take care of herself.

I heard on Greta van Susteren's show this evening that you apologized for your comments to the Palin family for your jokes that were made last week. I must applaud you for fessing up to your mistake, and I hope that it is a learning experience for you, if not more.

Any man can make a mistake, but when that same man fesses up to his mistake it shows that he sincerely cares. I hope that you have learned that in your comedy to watch what you say. A joke may look sufficient on paper, when in reality is can hurt the reputation of those people in which the joke is based around. It is one thing to joke about a political leader, but taking that joke to an extreme level and bring in a family member is completely uncalled for.

I thought that it was necessary to submit another letter to you because you apologized for your joke. I sincerely hope that you have learned something valuable from this encounter. I know for a fact that I have. I have learned to watch what I say. The littlest joke can impact the lives of many.

Occasionally I happen to catch your show, but I would not be classified as your number one viewer each night. You tend to have some funny things to say that crack me up. One of your shows this last week, in one of your jokes ridiculed one of Sarah Palin's daughters. In the joke, you referenced Palin's daughters getting "knocked up" by one of the Yankees. This comment was completely obscene and inappropriate.

I realize that you are a comedian, and you and your writers choose somewhat popular people to vocalize about in your comedy, but your choice of jokes for this skit was completely inappropriate. The comedian card only goes so far. Answer this for me, since when is it okay to ridicule the family member of someone who ran for office? Would you do the same to Chelsea Clinton? What about using the same type of comment for the daughters of Barack Obama, Malia Ann or Natasha? How about using a joke of the same league and caliber about Michelle Obama? I tend to believe no. Why? You would be completely ridiculed by the liberal media, probably loose your job from CBS and have to answer to Barack.

You would also choose not to ridicule them because they are of your same liberal party. How dare you say stuff like that about fellow Democrats. I am writing this letter to you to bring this to your attention. Palin has herself said that she does not want a formal apology from you to her, but to the women to America. I urge you to do both. Apologize to both of them as well as to make the same type of crack toward Michelle Obama.

Let me ask you another set questions. Who gives you the right to sit there and ridicule a Republican? What if you had said that about a fellow Democrat? What is your deal with Palin anyway? Is it because she is a respectable Republican leader and you are scared that one day you will have to show her some sort of respect if she gets into office? What if a Republican said some immature comment as you did to lets say...Michelle Obama? They would be ridiculed for that remark. Why is there a double standard for liberals? Liberals can get away with murder, but if a Conservative does the same . . . hell will freeze over. That is very unfair.

David, I said before that I sometimes catch your show, but after your choice remarks and inappropriate comments, I choose to NEVER watch your show again and I will encourage others to do the same. I ask you to make this right. I hope that you will loose all support from any Conservative who watches your show.

As many of you may have already know, Dr. George Tiller, who remained as one of a few of America's late term abortionist was gunned down in the his church, Reformation Lutheran Church. Read the complete story here.

This is a very controversial issue, because it is mixing politics with religion, and morals. I am a firm believer in the Holy Bible, which states that murder is wrong. Deuteronomy 5:17 states "You shall not kill."

While I do not support any form of abortion, is it right for one man to take the life of another man he believes is living wrong? No. Absolutely not. Although I am a firm believer that even though this killer murdered 60,000 fetus' that never had the chance to live life on their own, I do not believe it was right for Scott Roeder to take the situation into his own hands and end the life of the corrupt and mentally ill Doctor. I do rest assured that Tiller will not be around any longer to continue his murdering lifestyle, but I also can believe that others will arrogantly doing so in his footsteps. It is just part of this growing liberal minded society we live in.

Two wrong do not make a right by no stretch of the imagination. If Tiller was still alive, I would hope that the extent of the law would punish him to death. With how corrupt and biased our current administration is, if I were a betting man, I would bet that their left-wing and non-Bible supporting policies would have let the murdering of baby fetuses continue among thousands more in his life. Tiller will be punished for his choice of living a murderous lifestyle.

Should we as Christians be supportive of baby killers? No. Should we as Christians be supportive of killing baby killers? No. Is their Scriptural support for capital punishment? Yes. Should we as Christians state our opinions on the matter? Yes. Why? Not doing so would be an abomination (no pun intended) both to God and our beliefs. "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything." I believe that it is our requirement as fellow Believers in Christ to take a stand for our beliefs. This does not mean arrogantly rubbing our opinions in the face of others that do not believe along with us, but we should take the more mature approach.

I feel awful for the thousands of innocent babies that Tiller has murdered throughout his professional career. Just the thought of 60,000 lives that would have been added to the American population is just mind boggling. What if Tiller had been aborted during his mothers pregnancy? How would this world or country be different?

If you were a judge in a court room, how would you sentence Roeder? More to come...

Ladies and Gentlemen: Lets have an applause for Mr. Teleprompter, the 44th President of the United States.


Good job, America. I will admit, Bush used teleprompters too, but not to this extreme. It is evident that Obama has people writing his speeches to try and please everyone with his C.H.A.N.G.E. policy, and to be honest that is sad. He continues making promises that he will not keep, ruining this country and everything it stands for in the process.
