So, it is getting to be that time of the year when hurricane's frequent here is in the sunshine state. There are a few "tropical storm" impressions that have developed, but nothing has hit here as of yet. But...the Florida showers come and go as a daily occurrence. Earlier this year, I made another post about the rain. In fact, I think we can look to the rain for many examples in our lives.

In fact, our lives can be like a hurricane. With that being said, we can be having a wonderful week then all of a sudden, a little bit of a mishap can happen which can bring us down and teach us some mighty fine lessons. After a time of storms, the "rain" clears and we continue on as we did before.

he best thing to do in this time is not get frustrated, but learn as much as you can. Life throws many storms our way, take the higher road and never take for granted the sunny days. What are your thoughts? What are you going through that might be encouraging to others?

Tonight I had the pleasure of being able to be a part of a small group session started by the one and only @jacalopekid (Adam Smith). This is something that he started last week, but due to my school schedule I was unable to attend last week.

Tonight's session was led by @leslieblueeyes. The entire time was a complete blessing after a long and hard day...emotionally. Will post about that tomorrow. But...I was blessed tremendously by many people that I daily interact with on Twitter. Even though we (the body of Christ) were in many different states (possibly even countries...) we were able to connect and grow with one another through video, audio and text chat online. Amazing what technology has allowed us to do.

For all that attended, it was great. Just remember the things that we discussed, and please apply them to your life. I hope we were able to minister or encourage one person...if not everyone that was in the chat room tonight. If you missed it, we therefore missed you as well. We will be having another one next week. Not sure who will be leading it, but I know they will bring a great message and it will be a great opportunity. Plan on attending next week, if you schedule allows.

There are many types of people that rub my fur (if I was a cat) the wrong way. A person that has the know-it-all attitude. Believe me, I believe people can have much knowledge about topics . . . but when you mix arrogance with that knowledge, you are doing something wrong. I know many people that are experts at their craft and I highly respect those individuals. Being arrogant and a bully is no way to gain respect by anyone. You may think people have respect for you, but at the end of the day, things are much different that what you think.

Then, to add on top of that, when that person puts themselves in jokes that they are not a part of, that is just a formula for failure.

Through my experiences and heeding the advice of my father and many other influential people in my life, bullies are fed upon your emotion. The more attention you give them, the more fuel they will have for condemning you. The proper way to deal with bullies is to not. Let them be . . . walk away and be the bigger person. Obviously, they aren't going to because they are the bully! They have chosen the low road, so you as the better person should chose the high road.

What do we do from here?

Step 1 - You do not feed the fire by being abrasive toward the individual.

Step 2 - You do not allow the person to know that he effects you (where applicable)

Step 3 - Be professional and move on. Arrogant people will receive their judgment and will eventually find out the hard way what they have been doing and living is not an appropriate style.

In the heat of the moment, you can not let these people effect you. We should and Christ sets the example that we should be the bigger person. When this person effects you, just move on and continue doing what you know is right. They will learn on their own time. It is not your responsibility to justify anything.

As many of you may have already know, Dr. George Tiller, who remained as one of a few of America's late term abortionist was gunned down in the his church, Reformation Lutheran Church. Read the complete story here.

This is a very controversial issue, because it is mixing politics with religion, and morals. I am a firm believer in the Holy Bible, which states that murder is wrong. Deuteronomy 5:17 states "You shall not kill."

While I do not support any form of abortion, is it right for one man to take the life of another man he believes is living wrong? No. Absolutely not. Although I am a firm believer that even though this killer murdered 60,000 fetus' that never had the chance to live life on their own, I do not believe it was right for Scott Roeder to take the situation into his own hands and end the life of the corrupt and mentally ill Doctor. I do rest assured that Tiller will not be around any longer to continue his murdering lifestyle, but I also can believe that others will arrogantly doing so in his footsteps. It is just part of this growing liberal minded society we live in.

Two wrong do not make a right by no stretch of the imagination. If Tiller was still alive, I would hope that the extent of the law would punish him to death. With how corrupt and biased our current administration is, if I were a betting man, I would bet that their left-wing and non-Bible supporting policies would have let the murdering of baby fetuses continue among thousands more in his life. Tiller will be punished for his choice of living a murderous lifestyle.

Should we as Christians be supportive of baby killers? No. Should we as Christians be supportive of killing baby killers? No. Is their Scriptural support for capital punishment? Yes. Should we as Christians state our opinions on the matter? Yes. Why? Not doing so would be an abomination (no pun intended) both to God and our beliefs. "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything." I believe that it is our requirement as fellow Believers in Christ to take a stand for our beliefs. This does not mean arrogantly rubbing our opinions in the face of others that do not believe along with us, but we should take the more mature approach.

I feel awful for the thousands of innocent babies that Tiller has murdered throughout his professional career. Just the thought of 60,000 lives that would have been added to the American population is just mind boggling. What if Tiller had been aborted during his mothers pregnancy? How would this world or country be different?

If you were a judge in a court room, how would you sentence Roeder? More to come...
